COMA CLUSTER VOID will release ‘Thoughts From A Stone’ on October 13th, 2017 with Translation Loss Records on CD/LP/Digital. Featuring stunning new artwork from guitarist John Strieder, ‘Thoughts From A Stone’  compact disc includes a 12 page illustrated booklet. Two limited edition vinyl LP variants feature Metallic Silver (limited to 300 units) and a Metallic Silver and Royal Blue Merge with Black and Bone White Splatter (limited to 200 units). Vinyl comes with B-side COMA CLUSTER VOID logo etching and two-sided illustrated insert.

Thoughts From A Stone is the newest 21+ minute opus from multi-national technical death metal act COMA CLUSTER VOID! The group is comprised of Mike DiSalvo (ex-Cryptopsy), Austin Taylor and Genevieve DiSalvo trading off on lead guttural vocals, Sylvia Hinz providing classical mezzosoprano vocals, bass guitar and double bass recorder, John Strieder on 10-string guitar and cello, Chris Burrows on drums and guest Alexa Renger on violin. Thoughts From A Stone encapsulates the most forward thinking progression in technical death metal. The band describes Thoughts From A Stone as representing a whole world within the spanning 21:40 minutes: “A journey into the darkest recesses of the human mind”, explains guitarist John Strieder. Evolving from primeval mists, to pompous riffage, to mathy chaos, to a dark ballad, into the highest highs to the lowest lows, and finally reaching back to the Intro “I Am” of their 2016 debut record Mind Cemeteries. Featuring avant-garde and experimental trio XELMYA, COMA CLUSTER VOID are poised to turn heads and shock the metalsphere with their saturated and expansive sonic palette.
