Fórn unleash “Scrying Below The Wolf Moon” exclusively via Bandcamp

Fórn unleashed doomed fury last weekend at the coveted Gilead Media/20 Buck Spin music festival, Migration Fest. Fans were able to sonically experience songs from their forthcoming new full length, “Rites Of Despair” and participate in a scavenger hunt to uncover hidden USB drives containing the song, “Scrying Below The Wolf Moon”. Nine lucky fans were able to hear the song first.
The track, clocking in at almost 11 minutes, is a masterful composition, delivering punishing waves of destructive and epic songwriting with soaring leads of hope and despair.
Now, unveiled unto the masses, “Scrying Below The Wolf Moon” is available via Bandcamp.

Boston’s doom/black metal emissaries Fórn return with their highly anticipated new album, “Rites of Despair”. The band’s first proper full-length after a series of EPs and singles, “Rites of Despair” is the resulting vision of two years worth of tumult, including relocations, lineup changes, life and death. Divided between two Acts, “Act I: Depersonalization” & “Act II: Derealization”, Rites of Despair explores themes of isolation, depression, decay, tumultuous self discovery, and abandonment.

Tracking and engineering was completed by both Alec Rodriguez at New Alliance in Cambridge, MA, as well as Andrew Oswald at Secret Bathroom in Oakland, CA. Mastering completed by Magnus Lindberg of Cult of Luna.
